SHANGHAI, China - A court in southeastern China has sentenced a former judicial official to 16 years in prison on charges of incitement to subvert state power, a human rights group said Thursday.
Li Jianfeng, a former court official in the city of Ningde in Fujian province, and seven co-defendants say police framed them and tortured them in detention, New York-based Human Rights in China said in a statement, citing court documents.
