2014年8月5日，江西省新余市中級法院對劉萍、魏忠平和李思華的上訴案作出維持一審判決的裁決。

三位呼籲官員財產公示的維權人士於2014年6月18日被新余市渝水區法院作出一審判決：劉萍和魏忠平被以尋釁滋事罪、聚眾擾亂公共場所秩序罪和利用邪教組織破壞法律實施罪，分別判處有期徒刑六年六個月；李思華被以尋釁滋事罪判處有期徒刑三年。
